“A flock of sheep that leisurely pass by
One after one; the sound of rain, and bees
Murmuring; the fall of rivers, winds and seas,
Smooth fields, white sheets of water, and pure sky -
I’ve thought of all by turns, and still I lie
Sleepless…”—~William Wordsworth, To Sleep
Oh, come on. I'll give up almost everything to be in England! Its way better than SIngapore anyway. /: Do you have skype or smtg? (:
I suppose I love English music and fashion, but I guess anywhere we don’t live will seem much better than the places that we do. :’) And I have no idea what smtg is, but I know I have neither! I’m a little webcam shy, sorry! :) xx
The "macarena in the devil's lair" part is my favorite part of the song! I'm from Singapore, yes, I'm quite far away. Wait, NORTH EAST LONDON?
Ha! I thought it was “do the macarena with a grizzly bear” at first :$ I mixed up two of the lines! :D And oh, that sounds so lovely! And no, sadly not! The North East of England, it’s not that fantastic in all honesty :’)
I heard a few songs from their live performances and I think Suck it and See would be awesome, albeit some of the songs has a much darker feel compared to Humbug. So which part of England are you from? :D
It does seem to be a little darker, nevertheless I can’t help but laugh at “Don’t Sit Down…” though. It’s such a peculiar title :’D And I’m from the North East, where are you from? :) x
“Lost my heart in California, lost my mind. Shot me down with a revolver, got me high.
Then a heart of gold came on the stereo, Mr. Young made me cry. Then all the colours of the rainbow, fell in my eyes.”—Yellow Brick Road, Angus & Julia Stone
